Story: After nearly 30 years of civil war for autonomy and independence by the Tamil ethnic group in Sri Lanka, the war was eventually brought to an abrupt end recently. In the weeks following the last days of the war, a lot of ethnic Tamils around the world staged demonstrations to call attention to the plight of their kinsmen back home. The above pictures captured some of the moments in London.
